Bicycles, Skateboards and Rollerblades
We ask that bicycles not be brought to school. If a child does wish to ride to school on his/her bike.  Parents must be aware that neither the school nor the Peel Board can accept the responsibility for lost or stolen bicycles and that bicycles stand is not regularly supervised during the day. Finally, all bicycles are to be walked while on school property.
Lunchroom Privileges
Lunchroom privileges are provided in accordance with the Peel District Board of Education. Supervised  lunchroom facilities are provided for students who need to remain at school during the lunch hour. We do encourage students to go home for lunch whenever possible since it gives them a break from school and an opportunity for a hot nutritious meal. Students each lunches in designated areas. They are to remain on the school grounds unless given specific written instructions by the parents to leave the property.
It is expected that students will handle themselves, at all times, in a responsible, respectful manner. Lunchroom privileges may be withdrawn for inappropriate conduct. Disrespect, leaving the property without permission, etc. May result in a suspension form the lunch program.

Lost and Found

The lost and Found box is stored in the hallway in front of the library. Periodically, this box is emptied and the contents are spread out in the main hall. Teachers take their classes for a view of the contents. Parents are invited to pick up items.
You can assist us by putting name labels on all your child's belongings, including gym bags, jackets, snow suits and boots, etc. If parents would like to visit the school for viewing, please check in at the office and the secretary can direct you to the contents.
No Parking and No Stopping Zone:
Please be aware that there is a NO STOPPING ZONE on the west side of Sunset Blvd. And a NO PARKING ZONE on both sides of this street. When dropping off children, please park on the south side of Elmgrove Ave. or on Glendale Ave. and walk your children across to the school to ensure their safety.

Parents are
NOT to use school driveways and parking lots for pick up and drop off. These are needed for Glendale and Peel Board staff. The driveway off Sunset Blvd. Is also our Bus drop off and loading zone and as such, is even more dangerous an area with extra traffic. Finally, children are not to walk through school parking lots. Pedestrian traffic is encouraged to use the walkways at all times.
